Logic Plastic’s offers products for both the DIY’er and those who want a turn-key finished dock system.
DIY’ers
For the Do-It-Yourself’er, we carry galvanized dock hardware for wood dock systems. We have inside corners, dock hinges, anchor points, dock cleats, bumper pad rails, winter wheels and all the galvanized nuts, bolts and washers you need. We can help you with your design needs and a material list. Don’t forget our patented dock floats!

Complete Dock Systems
We also have staff available to build your dock for you. Tell us what you need and give us a little time. We’ll build a dock system for you out of treated wood or aluminum. We’ll install everything you want including the dock floats, the bumper rail, the tie down cleats and all the specified hardware. You just need to come to our yard with a flat deck trailer and we’ll lift the completed dock, ready to dump in the lake.
Need a dock in a hurry. We have some standard sizes ready for pickup. Just call ahead so we can have it ready for viewing and loading.
We use CAD for maximum floatation, water flow and durability.
Our patented design outperforms and outlasts any other design currently available. Our engineers applied technology from floatation models and combined that data with ship building practices and produced our versatile dock float that allows you to create a dock of virtually any shape and size. Our dock floats can also be used for DIY pontoon boat construction. Logic Plastic’s dock float is designed to attach to regular dimensional lumber or aluminum tubing with standard hardware available through Logic Plastics or at your local hardware store. Our non-puncture fastening system ensures no leaks. Our dock float also has an optional ballast system to customize your dock position above the water.
Logic Plastic’s dock floats are made from low density polyethylene (LDPE) giving them the flexibility they need for water use and land storage in the winter months. Many dock floats are made with high density polyethylene (HDPE) which is more rigid and not suitable for the Canadian climate swings. HDPE should not be used in Canada because it is more prone to cracking when struck (like when dragging on shore) and is not as tolerable of Canadian temperature swings. Logic Plastic’s dock floats are rugged and will not get brittle in cold temperatures. Our dock floats are easy to install, have no maintenance and are UV protected. They have been designed with several innovative features for easy installation and to ensure they last for years (they’ll probably outlast your treated lumber). Logic Plastic’s dock floats are limited only by one’s own dock or pontoon boat design imagination.
Logic Plastic’s dock floats are a one-piece rotationally molded part, which eliminates seams than could result in separation and leakage. Our ¼” (6 mm) nominal thick shell is made of a mix of recycled and new low density polyethylene (LDPE) and contains ultraviolet inhibitors. This tough shell helps prevent damage from oil, gas, and marine organisms. Logic Plastic’s dock floats have a flat top with molded-in mounting holes for easy attachment to any dock framework; whether wood or aluminum. Floating docks built with Logic Plastic’s dock floats will provide long lasting and carefree encapsulated flotation, resulting in long-range savings for recreational docks and complex marinas.
Do your part for the environment. Our dock floats are 100% easily recyclable and made with a mixture of recycled and new polyethylene plastic.
